Here is a completely cardboard picture book in the shape of miffy, in which the young reader discovers everyday objects to learn words in a gentle way.
miffy was born on June 21, 1955, when Dutch artist Dick Bruna first drew the character to entertain his son during a rainy holiday in the Netherlands. What follows is a series of books with simple illustrations and rhyming lyrics that explore all the universal themes of childhood.
This character, a true work of art, immediately earned Bruna international recognition as an author and artist. The drawings are characterized by simple shapes (very round) and flat areas of color surrounded by a thick black line. He uses very few colors per plate, and almost only white, blue, green, red, yellow, brown and black.
65 years later, more than 90 million copies of miffy's books have been sold and are currently published in more than 50 languages.
