One day Grandpa Bunny finds a stick in the woods and has a good idea. He takes the stick home with him, sands it until it is smooth and then hollows it out. Then he calls miffy and tells her that he has made a flute for her. 'when miffy heard about the flute/she cried hip hip hurray!/just what I’ve always wanted/I’m coming right away’ miffy takes the flute home with her, and she and Mother Bunny think of a special way to thank Grandpa Bunny!
